It is usually best to start by entering just the street name by itself, without entering the street number or street type. This is because the address may be entered several different ways in the database, since the information comes from handwritten forms.

Example:
For example, if the address you are searching for is 100 Main St., then try just entering Main in the address field. In the data, it may be stored as 100 Main Street or 100 Main St or 100 Main, etc. So by searching just for the street name, you have a better chance of finding the proper location. Or you can try searching for just the numeric portion of the address, eg: 100, and leave out the street name in case there is a typo in the street name.
